Larry Fine Of The Three Stooges - Where's Your Dignity?
Artist
Sean Connolly
Medium
Drawing - Charcoal On Paper
Description
Larry Fine Of The Three Stooges.
Musician.
Artist.
Stout fellow.
Man of peace.
Victim of circumstance.
He's getting to be an intelligent imbecile.
He graduated with the highest temperature in his class.
Every time he thinks . .
. . he weakens the nation.
The joint reminds him of the reform school.
And when it comes to fine wines . . .
"I'm a commonsewer".
He'll wait. Maybe he'll get potatoes.
He knows fish is great brain food.
And that goes for his whole family too.
He'll do it when he's good and ready.
He's gonna get himself a cheap lawyer.
He's sleeping in the lower.
Nary ". . a gentleman in our family for five generations", Larry hailed from The City Of Brotherly Love and flew smack into the middle of New York's raucous Brothers Howard. He is their negotiator ("Ayyy . . leave 'im alone!"). And what does he get for his conciliatory troubles?
- - a wood plane scraped repeatedly across his forehead.
The very funny Larry Fine - flesh and blood, dignified stooge.
Louis Feinberg 1902 - 1975
